Becoming a christian...

At Stony Hill, we believe that there is absolutely nothing more important in a person’s life than his/her relationship with God. Therefore, we desire to see you and your family come to know Him and walk with Him as long as He gives you breath.

We believe that this relationship is possible because Jesus died on the cross for our sins. To understand salvation, one must understand a few important things:

Bad News

• The Bible says that we have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23). That is, every person on the face of this earth has done things that are sinful and wicked.

• The Bible also says that our sin brings death and separation from God (Romans 6:23). In other words, because of our sin, we face eternal separation from God.

Good News

• God loves you and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins (John 3:16).

• If you turn from your sin and trust in Jesus Christ, you will be saved
  (John 1:12).
